It’s time to experience the Windows 10 hands on before retail customers and stay a step ahead and Enjoy latest features and/or improvements introduced in this latest build. But please be aware that, this build is still in betas so you may expect some bugs (minor or somewhat above than that) but this build is comparatively reliable to be used as daily driver than it’s pre-alpha and alpha releases as they were highly unstable and critically buggy… This is a must try for developers and IT Pros, but Hardcore Gamers and/or Tech Enthusiasts may give it a skip for the time being as they may face difficulties in obtaining optimized drivers and Apps for this version of Windows for your hardware.
10 Features of Windows
10:
1. Enhance
UI and Better Touch UI –
Touch Support and Experience improved greatly.
2. Classic
Start Menu – Well, the
classic/Windows 7 Style Start Button/Start Menu has been reintroduced in this
version of Windows.
3. Multiple
Virtual Desktops –
Windows 10 introduced the option to add multiple desktops (virtual), so you can
work and personalize the desktops, the way you like them to!!
4. New
Task View/Switcher – A
whole new task view/switcher adapted just as seen in other devices/platforms as
well. Such as Recent Task Viewer in Android 4.1+ i.e. Thumbnail view of recent
apps or opened/running apps and Apple iOS.
5. Snap
Assist – An excellent feature
of arranging and Snapping Apps & Windows into new screens and tile windows.
6. A
Better CMD – The Command
Prompt introduced in this version of Windows has been enhanced and evolved with
the time. Now our CMD supports shortcut keys and paste feature as well.
7. Continum – A special feature that is specially
designed for cross platform devices such as Touch based devices i.e. Windows
Phone and/or Touch based PCs, Laptops and All-in-Ones. The feature is so
designed that it’ll automatically enable touch controls, whenever a hardware
navigation and keyboard is removed and vice-versa.
8. All
New Explorer – The Windows
Explorer has also evolved with this upgrade of Windows, not just icons and
looks only but in features as well. Introduced a new Home Location to be set as
default view (sounds pretty much like Linux based home :P)
9. Universal
Apps – As mentioned by
Microsoft itself that Windows 10 will be a cross platform OS available for
multiple devices including Laptops, PCs, AIOs etc. but not limited to Windows
Phone. This means apps needed not to be redesigned for Windows 10 to work under
different platforms making the apps designed Universal indeed.
10. Floating
Desktop Apps – Another
feature of Windows 10 is that, the newly designed Universal/Modern apps will float
on desktops just as we’ve experienced Home screen widgets on Android that work
differently than the app itself.
Enjoy your day and using Windows 10 Preview!!!
