[App Review] Brave Browser - A Privacy Respecting and Cross Platform Browser for Windows/ Linux/macOS/Android/iOS
It's 2020 and approximately 60% of the world's population is connected to the internet to stay connected with friends and families and to perform day to day routine tasks (as compared to approximate 16% of world's population in 2005). As more and more people are gaining access to the internet, the demands for user's privacy and isolation are also increasing day by day because of the tracking behavior of most website (these days).
Not just such websites stores user's basic browsing data and its activities, but in order to gain user's preferences, they keep on to track users every single activity like the websites he/she has visited, what category of websites the user is visiting, how much time was spent on a particular website or web-page, what was he/she looking for, what services/products bought online or was in the midst of purchasing etc.
Browsers such as Mozilla Firefox (including its' forks), Chromium (including its' forks), Google Chrome (also built from Chromium source code), Microsoft Edge (latest edition built on top of chromium as base), Safari, Opera, UC Browser, Vivaldi, etc. are used widely for this purpose and most of them come with the ability to install multiple add-on (on top of your favorite browser) to enhance the user experience and some of these browser does support native ad-blocking and scripts blocking.
Although there are several add-on that are aimed at protecting the privacy of a user and most of them are actually free of cost and are in the best interest of the user but the only set back of using add-on is it consumes additional memory for performing its actions.
This is where the Brave Browser comes in to take this one level ahead and make things a lot easier by integrating several excellent features in the browser itself.
